FAQ

Do I have to have makeup (for women)?

My style and the way my team and I shoot and edit—women specifically—is heavily influenced by the professional work of the MUA(s) I work with and their style .  In a nutshell, yes, it’s required for women.  If this isn’t something you’re interested in, I understand and I’m probably not the photographer for you.

Do I have to use your MUA?

Yes. I shoot with a certain light setup and style that I attribute to the trust my MUA’s and I have built.  If this is an issue, I totally understand and I’m probably not the photographer for you.

Do I have to book online?

Yes, I do not take cash.  If you want to Venmo, CashApp or Paypal, that is fine.  Just contact me via email with the date that works for you and I’ll manually schedule your shoot time. If you are not comfortable with that please find someone who you can pay and let them do this for you.

What’s the turn-around time after the shoot?

I will provide you proofs from our shoot within 7 days of our shoot. After you make your selections, I will provide your photos to you within 7 days.

What should I wear?

I got you covered.  Once you book, I’ll send you a confirmation email with some images for examples and I’ll also contact you and run through our shoot in which I will also offer pointers.

I need headshots but hate taking pictures.  Can you help?

I totally understand and I provide a cool vibe that puts people at ease in which they tend to forget about how nervous they were.  I have full confidence that you’ll enjoy yourself and we’ll produce photos that you like.

What if I need to reschedule?

You are able to reschedule and cancel upcoming appointments by clicking on the Change/Cancel Appointment button in your confirmation email.

What happens if I’m late?

Things happen, please let me know as soon as possible when you know you are going to be late.  I’ve buffered your session a little for this scenario but being late still runs into your session.  If you have makeup being done, this can shorten your shoot if you’re really late.

Do you shoot on weekends?

Generally, no.  I encourage clients to take some time off from work and come enjoy themselves on a weekday.  I know weekends are great for them but I spend my weekends with my family.  If you can find a weekday that works for you, book it and enjoy that time off from work.
